2025 Year-In-Review

With the 2025 firmly past us, and 2026 quickly rolling by, I think we should take a second to look back on all the good times and accomplishments of the past year.

This being the first year of Ozark Fur’s existence, there isn’t much to talk about in the first few months of the year. From the inception of the telegram group until early July, new members began trickling in. When the group reached nearly 40 members, DexBun began planning for the first meet; a simple pizza party in the park.

Attendance was small, but enthusiastic. This prompted much enthusiasm from just about everyone in the group. Ozark fur meets were here to stay.

As the year rolled on, several more meets came and went. A summer-ending backyard BBQ, Halloween Bowling, and finally our year-end drive-in theater. Group membership ballooned from 40, to 60, to 80, to now nearly 100 members!

As we look towards 2026, I would like to thank you all for being here. Thank you for attending the meets, and thank you for being among the best furry communities there is.
