March 2026: Furcade @ Retrozone Marshfield

Spring has finally arrived! Flowers are blooming, the grass is starting to grow again, and the temperatures have been getting a lot more bearable.

…Or so we thought.

Sunday, March 15th surprised us with below-freezing temperatures and even some snow! I guess that’s just part of living in the Ozarks, am I right?

Despite the weather swinging from 68° to 18° in a single day, plenty of our furry friends still came out to play some video games, socialize, and eat pizza at an amazing small-town arcade. The event was held at Retrozone in Marshfield — a place I used to visit myself after getting out of school. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall spot that has grown a lot since the last time I was there.

A special thanks to the staff at Retrozone, especially the lady working that night, for helping make sure we all had such a fun time!

The overall vibe from everyone was that they really loved the aesthetic of the place. With tons of 80s furniture and retro technology, it truly feels like stepping into a building frozen in time. It was great seeing some familiar faces again and meeting several people I hadn’t met before.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the event! I know for some of you it was quite a drive, and we really appreciate you making the trip.
