January 2026: Ozark Furs Drive-In Theatre Experience
The temperature has definitely been dropping lately—but a little cold air wasn’t about to stop the furries from having fun like it was still the 1950s.
For our fourth furmeet, we wanted to do something a little different—something fun, memorable, and unique. The idea of hosting a movie night had been floating around for a while, but JR took it to the next level with the awesome concept of setting it up like a drive-in theater.
Putting this event together took a lot of time and effort. Between equipment, setup, and logistics, there were many moving pieces that had to come together to make it a success. We originally planned to host the event in December 2025, but due to some location setbacks, we pushed it to the very beginning of the new year—and honestly, it was worth the wait.
A huge thank-you to RBX for letting us use their space. This event wouldn’t have been possible without their support.
Shout-outs are also very much deserved for our amazing staff. JR handled much of the equipment logistics and created the awesome ’90s CGI-inspired visuals you saw on screen. Big thanks to Jettsy for volunteering their time to help with setup, parking detail, teardown, and car hopping. And of course, thank you to KC Love for capturing so many great photos throughout the night!
Overall, it looks like everyone had an amazing time. We saw people bringing their partners for a cozy date night, others coming with friends for a fun hangout, and plenty of good vibes all around. Even with the cold, everyone bundled up, huddled together, and socialized—and the atmosphere stayed warm in all the ways that mattered.
